Two farmhouse apartments on the shore of Barðaströnd, in Iceland's Westfjords. Sea views, a natural pool and hot tub within walking distance, and northern lights in winter.
Móra is run by Silja Björg Ísafoldardóttir and Þórður, a married couple who both grew up in the countryside, Þórður right here. They keep about 100 sheep and 20 Icelandic hens and are happy to tell guests about the area. You can also buy farm products from them, such as smoked lamb.

Ferry days
In summer the Baldur ferry crosses Breiðafjörður twice a day and Hotel Flókalundur is open. On clear days you can often see Snæfellsjökull across the fjord.
Also worth the drive: Rauðisandur beach and Bjargtangar lighthouse. Flatey island makes a lovely day trip by ferry from Brjánslækur.

Children of all ages are welcome. Cots for children up to 2 years are free on request. There are no extra beds, and children aged 3 and over count as adults.
Sorry, pets are not allowed. Parties are not allowed either, and quiet hours are from midnight to 06:00.
Every apartment has a full kitchen. There are no shops close by, so bring groceries with you. Flakkarinn restaurant is about 12 minutes away by car.
In winter, often. On clear nights they can be seen right from the house.
